Since 2005, James Madison University's Alpha chapter of FLOC has been dedicated towards serving both James Madison University's and local colorguard communities. In addition to serving the colorguard community, FLOC has also been dedicated towards serving our local and campus communities. Through our service to both the local and colorguard communities, our sisters have become strong leaders and have embraced our motto; service through interaction, but most importantly, their love for colorguard has remained.
Purpose
The purpose of For the Love of Colorguard is to improve colorguard in James Madison University's student community as well as in the surrounding community, through service and fundraising.
Fall 2025 Recruitment
Fall '25 Recruitment will be the week of August 31st through September 7th. A detailed schedule of recruitment week events will be posted soon.

Requirements
*You must attend at least 1 social event and 2 service events to be considered, interviews on September 7th is required for anyone interested in joining FLOC.
