Sisterhood
Each semester, FLOC recruits membership hopefuls. These prospective members will undergo a process to become a sister by the end of the semester. Almost 20 years after our founding date, FLOC now has nearly 70 sisters. These sisters come from all different majors, colorguard backgrounds and surrounding colleges. Some of our sisters attend Bridgewater College, Eastern Mennonite University, and Blue Ridge Community College.
Our sisters are the heart of FLOC. All of the events, service, and chapter outreach is because of the hard work of our sisters, committed to improving colorguard at JMU and the surrounding areas. Each sister has shown a dedication to a love for colorguard and serving their community. The dedication from each of our sisters has resulted in our growth and success
FLOC emphasizes the importance of sisterhood by creating a community of support for our sisters. When joining FLOC, sisters become a part of a community that uplifts each other and supports the efforts of every sister.
